SUMMARY:Dynamic Neuromuscular (DNX) Dry Needling Level 1
DESCRIPTION:Learn an integrative approach to treating myofascial pain combining dry needling with adjunctive therapies such as soft tissue treatments and therapeutic exercise. \nDuring this two-day hands-on workshop\, you’ll work through each segment of the body and practice clinical trigger-point dry needling of every major muscle group. Through this “learn by doing” methodology\, you’ll be well-prepared to begin utilizing what you’ve learned with your patients right away. \nWho Can Attend?\nThis program is specifically for doctors\, doctoral/professional students\, and other licensed health care professionals who can perform dry needling as part of their scope of practice. Students must be in their final year of school and must have completed all basic anatomy\, biomechanics and physiology coursework. \nCourse Schedule:\n– Complete 4 hours of online\, pre-course content \n– Friday: 4:00PM – 8:00PM\n– Saturday: 8:00AM – 8:00PM\n– Sunday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM \nUp to 25 CE hours is available for Chiropractors\, Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers \nCE Approvals:\nFor Chiropractors – \nTexas Approved for 25 CE hours \nLouisiana Approved for 25 CE hours \nFlorida Approved for 20 CE hours. \nThis course is approved for 25 CE hours through PACE. PACE approved courses are accepted in the following states: AK\, ID\, IN\, IA\, KS\, MA\, ME\, MD\, MN\, MO\, MT\, NC\, ND\, NE\, NH\, NJ\, NY\, OH\, OR\, RI\, SC\, SD\, TN*\, UT\, VA\, VT\, WY\, Puerto Rico and Nova Scotia.\nCE approval in the following states is approved through Texas Chiropractic College’s standing as a CCE-accredited institution: CO\, CT\, DC\, DE\, GA\, ID\, IL\, MI\, and WA. \nCE/CPD/CCUs are available for Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers in select states (dependent upon needling’s inclusion in scope of practice).  \nFor questions regarding specific state approvals by profession\, please email us at events@sports-seminars.com or call/text 877-799-5047. \n
