Edzard Ernst forced to step down

Chiropractic Economics August 2, 2011

August 2, 2011 — The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has previously reported on the efforts of Edzard Ernst, whose work has been noted as being damaging to complementary and alternative medicine practitioners around the world.

On Monday, Ernst announced that he would be leaving his role at Exeter University following pressure from the government to shut down Ernst’s entire department unless he stepped down as head of the unit. Exeter University will begin looking for Ernst’s replacement in the beginning of next week.
