Dr. Tori Hudson to present on perimenopause and menopause

Chiropractic Economics Staff April 27, 2012

April 27, 2012 — The hormonal changes accompanying perimenopause and menopause can span many years, bringing with them a wide array of unpleasant symptoms. On Thursday, May 10, 2012, Tori Hudson, ND, will present on the variety of natural, plant-based solutions available for these common hormone symptoms.

According to Hudson, “Some women are bombarded with perimenopause/menopause symptoms for a large portion of their adult lives and are offered conventional therapies, like hormone replacement therapy and other prescription medications, as their first line treatment options. In this presentation, I hope to educate practitioners on effective, botanical methods for managing symptoms including hot flashes, difficulty sleeping, generalized anxiety, and low mood.”

As co-founder and medical director of her private practice, A Woman’s Time, Hudson has practiced naturopathic medicine for 28 years. In this presentation, she will review the research and case studies from her private practice in which she has successfully utilized botanical strategies to relieve common and difficult symptoms.

Please join Hudson on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 7:00 PM CST.
