Double your patient volume

Chiropractic Economics March 8, 2010

ATLANTA, Georgia, – Dr. Hans uses the integrated ACOM Health’s RAPID Chiropractic Documentation & Practice Management software suite to virtually eliminate the need for paper documents.
“These experiences convinced me that the typical three tab manila folder type of paper-based documentation was a thing of the past and that to be efficient, I needed to switch to a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system,” said Dr. Hans.

“I think having the ACOM Health RAPID chiropractic software suite is the only way to go if you really want to do it right,” he says. “It really saves me a lot of time. The solution has positioned us to where we could easily double our patient volume and more.”

When patients arrive at Dr. Hans’ office they check in on a computer that resides on a small table in the waiting area. Patients update their daily complaints to an electronic file. The electronic file accompanies the patient to the exam/treatment area, where the doctor can build it out using visual point and click helpers, also scribing supportive notes on the interactive screen. The notes and observations are stored in a database, which allows Dr. Hans to generate detailed interim and final reports with just a few keystrokes.  Charges are automatically imported directly into the Practice Management software for billing third party payers electronically.
