July 8, 2008 — Chiro One Wellness Centers (COWC) launches “Operation Share the Wellness,” a new initiative aimed at supporting America’s newest returning veterans. The initiative offers one full year of chiropractic services for any U.S. military veteran returning from overseas deployment in Afghanistan and Iraq at no charge at their 24 Chicagoland and Kentucky-area clinics.
To be eligible for complimentary care, active and inactive duty personnel must be without chiropractic benefits made available by personal, employer-provided, or state or federal health insurance. Services of this new program include chiropractic examinations, adjustments, x-rays, and rehabilitative services. The complimentary care does not include durable medical equipment, nutritional supplements, or similar products. In the spirit of service, COWC plans to supplement Operation Share the Wellness with an internal year-long program geared to support troops through community outreach efforts.
Operation Share the Wellness will conclude July 4, 2009.
