Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) has launched a new online continuing education website, SmartChoiceCE.com. The site was developed as a premier online educational content hub for doctors of chiropractic and health sciences professionals seeking continuing education units (CEUs) for state licensing and ongoing professional education.
Alexander Bach, DC, vice president of institutional growth and innovation, noted that nearly half of CEUs obtained by doctors of chiropractic are being obtained via online formats.
The site’s continuing education coursework includes content from subject matter experts and educational partners from across the healthcare spectrum. Topic categories range from principles of practice to differential/physical diagnosis to intra-professional spine management.
Campus and Alumni Relations Director Jalonna Bowie said the site includes continuing education video courses, listings and links to in-person continuing education events, and resource documents. She said feedback about the site’s ease of use and quality of coursework has been positive.
“We plan to continue to grow the content library,” Bach said. “Our goal is that the site will become the resource of choice for healthcare professionals seeking CEUs.”
Doctors of chiropractic who wish to provide CE content can receive application information by emailing continuinged@cleveland.edu.
