Cleveland hires director for Master of Science in Health Promotion Program

Chiropractic Economics March 5, 2010

March 5, 2010 — The administration at Cleveland College is pleased to announce that Dr. Karen Doyle has joined the college to direct the Master of Science in Health Promotion program on the Kansas City campus.

The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools has approved the degree and the college will launch the new program in September with Doyle at the helm.

Prior to joining the staff at Cleveland, Doyle was the Health Promotions Coordinator at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, Mo. In addition, she taught at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg for more than 10 years in the Department of Health and Human Performance. Doyle has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology/Gerontology from the University of Kansas.

In her role as director, Doyle will guide the new program through the preparatory stages preceding the launch, and then direct its progress through the inaugural class and beyond.
