September 4, 2011 — Chiro One Wellness Centers recently announced that it was named to the 2011 Inc. 500/5000 list, ranking 1,035th overall, 71st in the Health Industry, and 37th in the Chicago area.
The list, presided over by the esteemed Inc. Magazine, is the gold standard of entrepreneurial success and with this distinction, Chiro One joins the likes of other Inc. 500/5000 award winners and business icons such as Microsoft, Zappos, and Under Armour.
Dr. Stuart Bernsen, Chiro One’s CEO said, “We are pleased to be recognized by the Inc. 500/5000 list. 2010 was another banner year for Chiro One, and we anticipate that 2011 will be even better. Our three year growth rate of 292 percent is truly a tribute to the critical need for chiropractic care and the combined efforts of our extraordinary teams’ passionate commitment to our Vision, ‘that every human being discovers their full potential.’”
“For years, chiropractic has been the best kept secret in healthcare in the United States,” states Brett Penager, Chiro One’s Chief Marketing Officer. “It is fast becoming a secret no more. Armed with our Vision, we are making headway into educating our communities and allowing them to choose the extraordinary wellness benefits that chiropractic care provides. It is cost effective, proactive, and empowers the individual to take charge of their health. Our growth is a testament to the voice and vote of the consumer.”
In the past year, Chiro One has entered the Dallas market with two offices, and plans to add two more in the fourth quarter of this year. Bernsen has also added seven offices in the Louisville/Lexington market in Kentucky as well as additional offices around Chicago. In all, there are now 64 branches in three states.
“We are proud of what we’ve accomplished thus far, however, with our long term plan to have 500 offices in 25 different markets by 2020, there is a tremendous amount of opportunity in front of us and even more work ahead,” states Bernsen. “We are not just looking at growth in the US but also internationally in markets such as the Middle and Far East where chiropractic has not existed before now.”
Each year Inc. Magazine releases its 500|5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing, private companies in the U.S. The list results are based on the percentage of revenue growth from 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must be based in the United States and have earned a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2007 and a minimum revenue of $2 million in 2010.
