December 9, 2010 — Parker College of Chiropractic, Texas Chiropractic College (TCC), American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA), and Foot Levelers are sponsoring a special seminar to support the fight against the Texas Medical Association (TMA) lawsuit.
TMA sought to prevent Texas chiropractors from performing manipulation under anesthesia, needle electromyogram tests, and diagnosing medical conditions. It has already achieved two out of its three goals, and is working especially hard to achieve the last goal by prohibiting diagnosis.
On Friday, Feb.18 through Sunday, Feb. 20, a continuing education (CE) seminar will be held at Westin Park Central in Dallas. All proceeds from the seminar will be donated to the Texas Board of Chiropractic to support fighting the lawsuit. Key speakers at the seminar will include: Dr. KSJ Murkowski, Dr. Mark Charrette, Kathy Mills Chang, and Dr. Kevin Wong.
The topics that will be covered during the event will be ethics, risk management, documentation and coding, and extremity adjusting. For more information or to register for the seminar, call Foot Levelers today at 800-553-4860, or online at www.footlevelers.com.
