January 9, 2018—October 16 is known as the World Spine Day, as set by the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). Involving over 550 official partners of the WFC which are located all over the world, this year of chiropractic may be one of the most successful ones that have come in over a decade.
Quite fitting as well, since this year’s theme is “Back in Action” and this will be showcased through all of the various activities and practices that will be promoted by the WFC. Among the locations of the world where chiropractic is performed, Hong Kong ranks among the most notable and well-renowned ones – having received a multitude of different awards.
In fact, The Chiropractic Doctors Association of Hong Kong (CDAHK) even received the 2nd highest spot among all the organizations – and that too on a global scale.
The competition held on the World Spine Day was judged by Robyn Brown, DC, for Europe, Kendrah da Silva, DC, for Africa and Ron Kirk, DC, for North America – all of whom were quite impressed with what the contesting countries had to offer.
The Chiropractic Doctors Association of Hong Kong’s various events that brought forward a lot of engagement from the public, allowing them to attain a lot of information about spinal health was highly regarded by the judges.
CDAHK Chairman Eric Chun Pu Chu, DC, stated that they were quite pleased to have won 2 first positions and 1 second position over a span of just four years. He further added that the goal of the CDAHK isn’t just to secure a victory, but also create a strong environment for research and knowledge in chiropractic in Asia. He also thanked all of the competitors and the zeal they showed in all of their activities, which allowed for the event to be such a massive success.
