CCGPP releases neck related disorders report

Chiropractic Economics March 3, 2009

March 3, 2009 — The Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP) will be posting the “Report on the Neck Pain Task Force Literature Synthesis-Draft” for review and commentary at www.ccgpp.org within the next two weeks.

The comment period will remain open until May 15, 2009. This chapter was written by CCGPP Commission member Donald R. Murphy, DC and his team. It is the seventh chapter to be released in the ongoing best practices initiative of the CCGPP, as commissioned by its founding organizations. It should be noted this chapter represents only the literature synthesis, and future projects are planned to translate the evidence into useful information for the DC practice to be published in its final form as part of the Clinical Chiropractic Compass process.

Comments on these documents should be submitted in an electronic format to ccgpp@sc.rr.com and include a discussion of the conclusions, submission of additional literature for review, and editorial suggestions.

Thank you for your participation in the comment period, as well as your continued support of the CCGPP’s iterative best practices process.
