Chiropractic Economics January 22, 2019

Recorded: Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. EST
Speaker: Chris D. Meletis, NP

Meletis has written and lectured extensively on the topic of hemp-derived CBD in clinical practice.  He will share his experience and research findings relative to our very own innate endocannabinoid system and how CBD interacts, potentials and supports the endocannabinoid system. Clinical pearls will be interspersed throughout the presentation, including the impact of CBD on the microbiome, a term called the “endocannabinoidome”.

Also how CBD plays a potential role in how NSAIDS and acetaminophen have their therapeutic impact on physiology. Discussions will also include what to look for when recommending CBD to patients and clinical considerations all providers need to know.  Every attendee, include CBD literate providers, will leave with at least one new clinically relevant fact.

  • General information and background on CBD from Hemp
  • How CBD interacts with the human body: The Endocannabinoid System
  • Benefits of CBD incorporated in clinical practice and human physiology
  • What to look for when buying a CBD product
