Carlson Laboratories supports Go Red for Women campaign

Chiropractic Economics December 22, 2011

December 22, 2011 — Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s (AHA) campaign to raise awareness regarding cardiovascular disease in women.

According to the AHA, heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the U.S. Friday, Feb, 3, 2012 is National Wear Red Day. Thousands of individuals and companies are raising awareness about heart disease by wearing red on this day.

Carlson Laboratories is proud to be supporting this event by providing a free red apron to health food store owners and their staff to wear. Kirsten Carlson, vice president of marketing for Carlson Laboratories, states, “We at Carlson have been promoting awareness about cardiovascular health since my parents started our company in 1965. Please help continue raising awareness by taking part in this special event.”
