Carlson Laboratories announces lineup for Expo West

Chiropractic Economics Staff February 5, 2015

CarlsonLabsFebruary 5, 2015 — For 50 years, Carlson Laboratories has been committed to offering high-quality nutritional supplements. To mark this milestone, Carlson is inviting Natural Products Expo West attendees to share in the celebration and visit booth 1414 for a chance to meet inspiring and motivational guests who share this commitment. The expo will take place March 4-8, 2015, in Anaheim, California.

“We are thrilled to introduce you to these individuals who are passionate about health and helping others achieve their goals,” Carilyn Anderson, president of Carlson Laboratories, said. “Please stop by booth 1414 and celebrate 50 years of a commitment to health with us.”

On March 6, 2015, Alex Richardson, MD, founder and trustee of FAB Research and a senior research fellow at the University of Oxford, will present “Changing Diets, Changing Minds: The Importance of Nutrition for Behavior, Learning and Mood” at 1 p.m. at the Marriott, Platinum 1. Some of her research includes whether omega-3 fatty acids improve ADHD symptoms in children, as well as the importance of diet for mental health. After her lecture, stop by the Carlson booth from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a signing of her book, “They Are What You Feed Them.”

Attendees can also meet skier Bill Demong at the Carlson booth on from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 7, 2015. Demong is an Olympic gold medalist who competed in Nagano, Salt Lake City, Torin, Vancouver, and Sochi as part of Team USA. He is known for pushing his teammates to new levels and acts as a mentor to many young athletes.

On March 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, will be at booth 1414 signing copies of his book, “From Fatigued to Fantastic.” Teitelbaum is the medical director of the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers. Having overcome these illnesses in 1975, he has an insider’s perspective on these conditions and knows first-hand how targeted nutrition can lead to recovery. Visitors will receive a free, signed copy of his book.

To wrap up Natural Products Expo West, Carlson has invited internationally-recognized rower, coach, and motivational speaker Susan Francia to booth 1414 on March 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Attendees can meet this Olympic gold medalist and learn about how her commitment to training hard and overcoming injuries helped her rise to the top of her sport. Today she is affiliated with the U.S. Rowing Training Center and is committed to helping others.
