April 7, 2012 — At the recent Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif., the Carlson sisters, Carilyn Anderson and Kirsten Carlson, accepted the inaugural “Hall of Legends” award from New Hope on behalf of their father. There were 13 honorees for 2012.
The Hall of Legends celebrates those individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and evolution of the natural products industry. The 2012 honorees are those who have devoted significant portions of their lives making this industry what it is today.
John Carlson was an active member of many associations during his lifetime of dedication to the natural supplement industry, including the Natural Products Association, The National Institute of Nutritional Education, and The Mid American Health Organization, and was recognized for his service on many occasions.
“We are so honored to accept this award on behalf of our father,” said Carlson President Carilyn Anderson. “In this industry, he found his passion in helping others lead a healthy lifestyle.”
