Varus/Valgus wedges reduce pronation and suppination. G&W's V/V wedges come in comfortable 6 and 9 degree angles and are designed to help align the heel during ambulation, stabilize weak or rotating ankles and decrease the loading on the ankle and knee joint to reduce pain.
G&W's heel wedges can be transferred from shoe to shoe or semi-permanently installed using their double faced tape. Wedges will be comfortable and effective if permanently installed beneath the footbed or insole in each pair of shoes.
Medial V/V wedges are recommended to those with the following syndromes: hyperpronation of the foot, shin splints, posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, chronic medical ankle instability, tibialis posterior tear, adult flat foot, chronic lateral compartment knee syndromes, plantar fasciitis and subtalar instability.
