Standard Process named
to INC.’s ‘fasting growing’ list

Standard Process, Inc. has been named to INC. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America. The company ranked at No. 4,243 on the list.

The magazine reported Standard Process experienced a revenue growth of 52.8 percent from 2003 through 2006. The magazine also reported the company had revenues of $77 million in 2006 and employed 221 people.

The company, which topped all other supplement companies in revenues and number of employees, ranked No. 5 in percentage of revenue growth among companies identified as manufacturers of supplements.

In Wisconsin, Standard Process ranked No. 6 for revenue growth among all companies in the health category. Among those companies, Standard Process ranked second in revenues and third in number of employees.

The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. Among the qualifications, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies.
