DCs are key players in corporate wellness

Chiropractors are playing an increasingly important role in the burgeoning field of corporate wellness, according to Thomas J. Montgomery, MHA, MBA, CHC, president and CEO of Wellspring Healthcare Enterprises, Inc.

He said the company’s growing program has found that DCs are the cornerstone of its services.

“Chiropractors not only have wellness at the core of their practices, but amongst wellness-oriented providers have proven best able to turn corporate-funded health coaching clients into patients for their own practices,” said Montgomery.

In addition, he said corporate wellness programs are now being sought after by employers who are anxious to reduce skyrocketing healthcare insurance costs caused by workers with multiple health issues and risk factors.
