Activator expands for growth
Activator Methods International has repositioned and expanded its administrative team to handle anticipated corporate growth resulting from its newly implemented strategic plans.
The changes and strategic growth plans were led by Judi Hamilton Fuhr, who was recently appointed president. Before joining Activator, she was president and CEO of Hamilton Consulting, where she applied her expertise in public affairs to lobbying for major companies such as NASCAR, ISC, W.M. Grace, and Fain Signature Group.
To assist with the strategic expansion, David Anderson, DC,former administrator for Palmer College of Chiropractic, was hired as a vice president of operations at Activator. He began in January.
In other Activator news, Thomas R. De Vita, DC, an advanced proficiency-rated doctor and senior clinical instructor with Activator Methods, recently spoke at the 32nd Yankee Dental Congress held in Boston. De Vita presented four three-hour sessions on Temporal Mandibular Disorders (TMD) and patient management utilizing Activator Methods protocol. More than 28,000 dental professionals attended the post-graduate conference.
De Vita is a 1975 graduate of Columbia Institute of Chiropractic, now known as New York Chiropractic College. He is a senior clinical instructor for Activator Methods and has been teaching for the company since 1982.
