Scrip Companies acquires Hessco

Scrip Companies, the largest distributor of chiropractic supplies and equipment, has acquired Hessco, Inc., a leading equipment supplier and the largest provider of high quality, warranted, refurbished equipment.

The Scrip-Hessco merger intends to bring tremendous economic value and savings to DCs and related industry professionals.

“This is culturally the right fit,” said Ed Donnelly, CEO of Scrip Companies, “in that both companies share the desire for customer service excellence and the requirement for superior product quality.”

Donnelly said there may be an opportunity to “expand the model in 2008.”
