RCS begins TV advertising

RCS (Research & Clinical Science) has begun using television to introduce chiropractic research to the American public.

The purpose of the commercials is not only to recruit volunteers for the program, but to establish an association between chiropractic and science in the minds of all those viewing the spots.

“Decades of anti-chiropractic propaganda have made many people think chiropractic is an unscientific approach,” stated Terry A. Rondberg, DC, CEO of the research program. “One of the key goals of RCS is to educate the public that we are a scientific, evidence-based discipline and the television commercial is an effective way to do that.”

The ads, which contain verbiage approved by an independent Institutional Review Board, also help raise public awareness that

chiropractic is not limited to the treatment of low back pain. In one spot, volunteers are recruited to study the link between chiropractic and stress-related conditions.

RCS researchers will explore the impact of subluxations on such stress-related health issues such as addictive disorders (overeating/obesity, smoking, substance abuse); anxiety disorders (panic attacks, social phobias, obsessive/compulsive disorder); autoimmune disorders (allergies, allergies, fibromyalgia); cardiovascular disorders (arrhythmia, hypertension, palpitations, arteriosclerosis) and some types of cancer (breast cancer, Hodgkin’s disease, lymphoma).

The commercials are being produced by Destiny Health Trends Network. More information on RCS is available at www.rcsprogram.com
