Life University to present Kids Day America
Life University will host the 13th Annual Kids Day America in collaboration with an open house celebration for the new Center for Health and Optimum Performance Oct. 6.
Kids Day America is celebrated worldwide and teaches children about health, safety, and environmental awareness. Life University is donating ID cards to each child and the Marietta Police Department will provide free fingerprinting for all children.
In addition, there will be an appearance by “McGruff” The Crime Dog, joined by special guests; the fire department will bring a fire truck and teach fire safety tips; and Life University will perform free spinal exams and scoliosis screenings, while distributing information on disease prevention and specific health issues that affect children.
The Center for Health and Optimum Performance will be used to better serve patients and educate chiropractic students. Along with physical exams and chiropractic adjustments, available services will include community health lectures, nutritional evaluations, wellness coaches, and the latest digital x-ray technology.
