Applicants needed for CCE academy
The Council on Chiropractic Education’s (CCE) Commission on Accreditation (COA) is searching for applicants for its Academy of Site Team Visitors. Members of the academy are trained to identify strengths and areas in need of improvement in chiropractic programs and to validate a program that complies with existing accreditation standards.
To be appointed to the academy, applicants must provide evidence of current or past employment in a full-time position or retirement from years of service; demonstrate writing skills sufficient to convey site team findings; demonstrate integrity, objectivity, and fairness; demonstrate professional responsibility and sound judgment; demonstrate the ability to work as a team member and as an individual; be willing to attend training sessions; be available to serve on a minimum of one site team visit annually, if needed; and maintain confidentiality.
Academy members will review chiropractic institutions and programs in a variety of areas, such as finances, facilities, and financial aid; governance and administration; basic science faculty and instruction in the DC Program; and core clinic training, clinic experience and management, competency assessment, and service.
