ICAK-U.S.A. announces Parker scholarship
The International College of Applied Kinesiology-U.S.A. (ICAK-U.S.A.) has announced the first $2,500 George J. Goodheart Scholarship in AK at Parker College of Chiropractic.
Parker College of Chiropractic is the eighth school to offer the series of scholarships that began in October 2005.
“The Goodheart Scholarship has been become a success thanks to the enthusiasm of our sponsors, the motivation of the students, and the assistance from the faculty at every school,” said Dr. Allan Zatkin, ICAK-U.S.A. scholarship chairman.
Scholarship applicants must be at least in their sixth trimester and maintain a 2.75 GPA or better. Students will also be required to submit an essay of no less than 500 words describing applicable work experience, academic strengths, career objectives, reasons for applying, and experience with AK, including future plans for research.
Applications are due Oct. 26 and will be reviewed by the ICAK-U.S.A. scholarship application review committee. The winner of the scholarship, sponsored by Apex Energetics, Inc., will be announced at an awards ceremony in the months following.
