Call for papers for Pediatrics Research Symposium

The Journal of Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (JCCP), published by the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, has issued a call for papers for presentation at its first research symposium.

The symposium will be held in conjunction with the Chiropractic Pediatrics Conference, April 18–20 in the Gold Coast, Australia.

The ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, with the assistance of the research departments of Macquarie University and New Zealand College of Chiropractic, is organizing the research symposium to showcase current pediatric research.

Research submissions should be in the areas of chiropractic pediatric clinical care, basic science research with applicability to chiropractic pediatrics, chiropractic pediatric education, and population/surveillance studies of the pediatric population.

The deadline for abstract submission is Dec. 31. Authors of selected papers will be notified by Jan. 31, 2008. The deadline for full paper submission of selected abstracts is March 15, 2008.

Priority will be given to original research with direct applicability to chiropractic pediatric practice. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and should be e-mailed as a Word document. Hard copies will not be accepted.
