Colorado DCs win awards
The Colorado Chiropractic Association announced its new president and nine awards of recognition at its annual state convention, held Oct. 21 in Denver.
James M. Farrell, who practices in Golden, Colo., was elected president.
The nine award-winners were:
- Chiropractor of the Year — James Farrell;
- Rising Star Chiropractor of the Year — Kristen Kells;
- Chiropractic Sports Award — Robert C. Nelson;
- Community Service Award — Michael Simone;
- Frank Elliot Pioneer Award — Robert C. Nelson;
- Legislator of the Year Award — Sen. Lois Tochtrop and Rep. Anne McGihon;
- Neal Bishop Service Award — Joyce M. Martello;
- CCA President’s Service Awards — James Farrell; Hal Lease; Don Mielke; Tim Murphy; Steve Schuster; Nelson Vetanze; and Terry R. Yochum;
- Exhibitor of the Year — Lynn Toohey of Nutri-West.
