Auction to benefit drug-free cause

An auction to support the “Choose not to use” campaign of the National Coalition for the Advancement of Drug-Free Athletics will be held June 11, 2007. Bidding will start at 8 a.m. EDT.

The “Choose not to use” campaign is aimed at eliminating the use of performance-enhancing drugs by athletes of all ages. It is designed to educate about the risks and dangers associated with the use and abuse of anabolic steroids and other drugs.

Proceeds from the auction will also be used to establish a NCADFA high school scholarship program for both male and female student athletes.

Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items.

Bidding can be done online at www.ncadfa.cmarket.com.
