Maltby honored as ICA’s DC of the Year
John K. Maltby, DC, FICA, of Blythe, California was honored as the 2007 Chiropractor of the Year by the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) during its 81st Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
The award was created by ICA’s founder Dr. BJ Palmer in 1950 and is presented annually to one individual who has distinguished themselves in their career through extraordinary service to the ICA and the chiropractic profession.
Maltby serves as the president of the ICA, and was first elected in 2005. He returned to office without opposition to a second, two-year term in April 2007.
Maltby has been an active member of the ICA for more than 30 years. He is a 1977 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and is in private practice in Blythe.
