CCCLA campus honors spring graduates
The Los Angeles campus of Cleveland Chiropractic College honored 17 graduates at its spring 2007 commencement ceremony April 21 in Glendale, Calif.
President Carl S. Cleveland III, DC, presented graduates with their doctor of chiropractic degree.
Craig Liebenson, DC, an internationally recognized author, lecturer, consultant, and sports medicine specialist, gave the commencement address. Liebenson spoke about the chiropractic profession and the role graduates have in its future.
Spring 2007 graduates were Christopher Bernier, Laura Bohlken, Thai Bui, Wayne Choy, John Dwyer, Joe Graham, Jimmy Hormozi, Glen Jukes, Natalie King, Gabrielle Kovelman, Christian Mendoza, Jayson Morton, Arash Pershen, Brian Truong, Vu Hoan, David Yates, and Jimmy Yu. Kovelman was named valedictorian, while Bui and Jukes graduated with honors.
During the “President’s Brunch” held before the ceremony, Bernier, Bui, Choy, Hormozi, King, Pershen, and Truong were presented with intern recognition awards. Bernier was also awarded with the “Clinic Excellence Award” and a $500 scholarship on behalf of the CCCLA Alumni Association.
