Chiropractic Economics launches student Web site
Students in chiropractic college can become better equipped to open and manage their own practices, with the help of a new Web site.
The Doyle Group, publisher of Chiropractic Economics and MASSAGE magazines, has launched studentDC.com. Tailored to the needs of the chiropractic student, this site is a resource for career planning and practice startup.
“Many graduates enter the chiropractic field with abundant technical information, but lack the skills to manage a practice successfully,” said Amy Mitchell, online editor of studentDC.com and ChiroEco.com. “Our goal is to provide them with the practical knowledge they need to succeed in business.”
Many students have already benefited from StudentDC.com. Josh Bonine, a student at Parker College of Chiropractic, recently commented, “I absolutely love it.” Two features that have received especially positive feedback are the Practice Startup articles and the Practice Visit Checklists, a tool for students that lists business methods to observe when visiting an established practice.
StudentDC.com provides articles and resource links on the topics of chiropractic colleges, career development, financial preparation, job search, and practice startup. Site visitors can continue to receive new, updated content by subscribing to a free, bimonthly newsletter available in print, online, and in PDF (portable document format). The author, Jean Murray, MBA, PhD, has more than 27 years of experience assisting small business owners and has expertise in chiropractic business startup.
Founded in 1980, The Doyle Group is the publisher of Chiropractic Economics (www.ChiroEco.com) and MASSAGE (www.MASSAGEmag.com)magazines. The company offers a wide range of products and services designed to generate qualified sales leads for business in the chiropractic and massage market places.
