4,600 registrants converge
on Parker Seminars Las Vegas

More than 4,600 registrants filled the convention hall at the 2007 Parker Seminars Las Vegas Feb. 7–9.
Attendees converged on 343 booths sponsored by 252 exhibitors, listened to keynote speakers, and earned up to 12 hours of continuing-education credits.
According to Gilles Lamarche, DC, director of Parker Seminars, the event drew an international array of chiropractic dignitaries from Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ghana, Japan, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, South Africa, South America, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
A number of individuals were recognized by Parker College and Seminars at the event:
- Stuart Bernsen, DC — chiropractor of the year;
- Jean R. Dow — international CA of the year;
- Lisa Speaks — CA of the year;
- Bobbie Doscher, DC — humanitarian award, presented by Biofreeze, for her work with children through Oklahaven’s Children Center; and
- Fabrizio Mancini, DC, president of Parker College — the Monte Greenawalt Chiropractic Excellence Award.
Additionally, Mancini presented Philippe Druart, DC, president of the European Chiropractors’ Union, with a plaque in celebration of the ECU’s 75th anniversary.
The next Parker Seminar will be in Dallas May 31–June 2, held in conjunction with the college’s 25th anniversary.
