FCER announces changes in staff
and board appointments
In recognition of the evolving chiropractic profession, the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research’s (FCER) Board of Trustees conducted an organizational realignment.
One staff change includes the closing of the Brookline, Mass. office and the elimination of the director of research position, which was held by Anthony Rosner, PhD.
In addition, the foundation’s grants and fellowship programs will now be managed more cost-effectively by the FCER Research Committee, which is headed by former FCER fellow, director of research, and current Board member Reed B. Phillips, DC, PhD. Aiding Phillips in the communication with applicants and organization of information will be Robin R. Merrifield, who will become the director of education. This redefined position includes the foundation’s communications, conference, and workshop planning, as well as providing staff assistance to the research committee.
The final change in staffing is the formal appointment of DeAnna Beck, CAE, to executive director and chief operating officer.
In addition to changes in staff, the FCER Board of Trustees voted to expand the size of its board to make it more inclusive to the stakeholders FCER serves.
