Chiropractic Coalitions’ Legislative Day
scheduled for April 26

The Chiropractic Coalition’s Legislative Day 2007, which will be held April 26, will include a host of key legislators on the agenda, along with an important Medicare Round Table at which senior Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) representatives will be present to answer individual doctors’ questions. 

The Chiropractic Coalition, including the International Chiropractors Association (ICA), the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations (FSCO), and the World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA), will be promoting an agreed legislative agenda that includes Medicare improvements, better access to chiropractic care for military veterans, commissions for doctors of chiropractic as military officers, chiropractic inclusion in the TRICARE program for military dependents and retirees, and other key initiatives. 

Among the invited Congressional guests are Rep. Bob Filner of California, Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, Rep. Chris Smith of New Jersey, Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, and Rep. Shelley Berkley of Nevada.

The event will be held in the Executive Room at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington D.C.
