Parker student inducted in Michigan’s Hall of Fame
One chiropractic student decided to use his knowledge of the profession to educate athletes and trainers at his college alma mater.
Neil Gardner, a chiropractic intern at Parker College of Chiropractic, visited the University of Michigan in late May to be inducted into the Men’s Track and Field Hall of Fame.
However, Gardner took the opportunity to spread his knowledge of chiropractic care to fellow athletes. He spoke in front of approximately 25 male and female athletes and shared triumphs and failures in both athletic and personal feats. He also set up a display during a regional track meet to spread information regarding chiropractic care to athletes and their trainers.
