June 2007 IPA names new executive director The International Probiotics Association (IPA) has hired Ioannis Misopoulos to serve as its new executive director. Misopoulos began his new position May 1. Misopoulos previously worked as the international sales manager of the Soyfoods Division at Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Co. located in Decatur, Ill. He received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science in 1999 and his master’s degree in food science in 2001, both at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Additionally, the nonprofit organization’s headquarters will be relocated to Chicago June 15. Source: International Probiotics Association, www.internationalprobiotics.org
