New York attorney general asks to stop doctor rankings

New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has asked UnitedHealthcare to stop doctor rankings.

Cuomo sent a letter to UnitedHealthcare to cease the implementation of a program designed to rank doctors according to quality and cost effectiveness. According to the New York State Chiropractic Association, Cuomo is prepared to seek an injunction if UnitedHealthcare fails to comply with the request.
