Northwestern’s golf tournament slated for July 30
Northwestern Health Sciences University’s fifth annual President’s Invitational Golf Tournament will be held July 30 at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.
Hazeltine has hosted the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, and the Ryder Cup, and has welcomed the likes of golfing legends Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.
Participation in the golf tournament will benefit Northwestern’s students, programs, and mission. Tournament organizers say they hope to raise $200,000, and a portion of the money raised will be donated to the Starkey Foundation, which provides free hearing aids to the poor.
The tournament is open to the public. Registration is available online at www.nwhealth.edu/hazeltine/golfers.html or by calling the university’s Office of Development at 800-888-477, ext. 237 or ext.163.
