First international rehab conference to be in November

Tawam Hospital, in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine, recently announced it will host its first International Rehabilitation Conference Nov. 21–22 in Al Ain in United Arab Emirates.

The theme of the conference will be “Modern Rehabilitation: The Holistic Approach” and it aims to provide a forum where current thinking, research, and evidence-based practice from a holistic point of view can be discussed.

Keynote speakers for the conference — from United States, Europe and South Africa — will be comprised of experts in the field of medical and therapeutic rehabilitation focusing on areas such as pediatrics, oncology, muscular-skeletal disorders, and neurological disorders.
