‘Straighten Up India: Bangalore’ globalizes chiropractic
Straighten Up India: Bangalore has helped jumpstart India’s inaugural occupational health plan by prioritizing chiropractic as the first strategic component of the plan.
Millions of people in India are expected to be affected by this historic breakthrough, which was made possible by a donation from the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC).
Straighten Up India: Bangalore culminates a series of Straighten Up successes conducted in collaboration with the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations (COCSA), and is funded by donations from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the American Chiropractic Association.
Representatives from the chiropractic profession visited India in February to attend meetings, outreaches, and a workshop to implement the plan.
Dr. H. R. Rajmohan, officer in charge of the Regional Occupational Health Center (South), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare-Government of India, chaired the workshop and called for the implementation of Straighten Up India to be the initial priority for improving the musculoskeletal health of workers across the nation. as a top priority.
