NYCC sends 63 to Chiro Games

Sixty-three New York Chiropractic College student athletes will be heading for the Lone Star State to take part in the 15th Annual Chiropractic Games. Hosted by Parker College of Chiropractic, this year’s athletic competitions will be held in Denton, Texas, on September 22 and 23.

This year marks NYCC’s eighth occasion to participate. On one of those occasions, NYCC took first place, and has taken third places three times in previous Chiropractic Games.

The events include flag football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, swimming, men’s and women’s soccer, golf, and track events.

NYCC teams going to the games are:

• 5/K Run Relay: Captain Angela Dy, Shanna Craig, Melissa Donais, Rose Moeser and Jodie Scott.

• Football: Captains Randolph Kalkstein and Nevin Markel; Brian Barrett, Adam Davis, Ryan Fralick, Chris Holmes, Matt Nelson, Sean Skinner, and Jeff Walczyk.

• Golf: Captain Lance Loomis, Alex Adorno Bruno, Pete Burgess, and Isaac Cristoveanu.

• Men’s Soccer: Captain Aaron Schuman, Chase Brunton, Darrell Cole, Ray Cooley, Thomas Corso, Corey Duvall, Rob Jarzebinski, Scott Kuper, Everett Scott, and Andy Waitkevich.

• Women’s Soccer: Captains Alison Passante and Stephanie Rudd; Jodi Bolsenbroek, Tina Cinicolo, Katie Edwards, Tiffany Grace, Maryellen O’Connor, Lisa Papenbrock, and Victoria VanNederynen.

• Softball: Captains Jeff Holtz and Kenneth McLeod; Adam Bowman, Jason Brown, Travis Hart, Jessica Jordan, Jessica Langborgh, Jason Nackley, Erik Peters, Dave Stevens, Chris Rooney, Ashley Schermerhorn, Eric Steffen, Patti West, and Brian Zelasko.

• Tennis: Captain Aaron Curtiss, Jason Fidler, and Stephen Genthner.

• Volleyball: Captain Dan Gatto, Sara Gonzalez, Jennie Hersey, Amy Jackson, Jamiil Khoury, Tyler Kong, Rafael Llop and Joanna Randazzo.
