201 students enter Northwestern’s
fall class
The largest incoming class
in Northwestern Health Sciences University’s history
began their studies at the university on Sept. 5. Of the 201
new students, 145 are chiropractic students, 30 are acupuncture
and Oriental medicine students, and 26 are massage therapy
students.
Although Northwestern dropped
summer enrollment for the chiropractic program, Bill Kuehl,
BA, director of admissions, says that has had a minimal impact
on the higher fall numbers. He credits the large incoming
class to a combination of things including its frequent preparatories
and workshops that introduce students to Northwestern and
its programs.
