Sherman’s presidential search continues

Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic’s search for a new president continues. The Board of Trustees’ presidential search committee has been busy doing the background work necessary to produce a successful search for the next president. The committee surveyed faculty, staff, administration, students, and Regents who have an e-mail address on file.

The data being collected should provide a good composite picture of the attributes desired in the college’s next president. Based upon these results and a similar brainstorming session held at the last Board meeting, a call for applicants, both internal and external, will be published in late October.

The deadline for applications will be the end of 2006 with first and second interviews, background checks, etc., occurring from January to May 2007. The committee hopes to name an appointee by summer 2007.
