Northwestern donates $15,000

Northwestern Health Sciences University presented a $15,000 check to the Starkey Hearing Foundation on Oct. 6. This is the first donation from Northwestern since it pledged its support this spring by promising to donate a portion of the proceeds from the third-annual Ranger boats Ultimate Bass Challenge and the 2006 President’s Invitational.

In addition to donating funds from Northwestern’s two fundraisers, the University is also partnering with the Starkey Foundation to create a Texas Ranger Boats Ultimate Bass Challenge. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from that event, which is slated to take place this spring on Lake Louisville in Dallas, Texas, will be donated to the Starkey Foundation.
