SBA hosts live Web chat
for veterans
The Small Business Administration
(SBA) is hosting its November Web chat on “Veteran’s
Business Development,” Tuesday, November 14 from 1:00
p.m. to 2:00 p.m., EST.
William D. Elmore, SBA’s
associate administrator for Veterans Business Development
and James W. Hammersley, SBA’s director of Financial
Assistance will answer questions for one hour. Chat participants
will receive information about programs and resources available
to help them learn more about starting a business, including
business plan development, technical assistance, and financial
resources. Veterans can use the chat to help them understand
their financing needs, the different types of financing vehicles
available, and how to choose the best financing options.
Participants can join the
live Web chat by going to SBA’s Web site, and clicking
“Your Small Business Voice Online Chat.” Web chat
participants may post questions for Elmore and Hammersley
before the Web chat by visiting http://app1.sba.gov/liveMeeting/liveElmore/intro.cfm.
