Pennsylvania lawmakers to see decompression demo

Members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives will be able to see a demonstration of decompression therapy on November 21.

The demonstration is being conducted as part of the World of Wellness, a wellness initiative sponsored by Rep. Roy E. Baldwin for the people of the 97th district in Pennsylvania.

Its mission is to inspire people to increase the quality of their minds, bodies, and souls by raising the consciousness of wellness and promoting specific wellness events.

David F. Cuccia, DC, the inventor of ExtenTrac Elite, and president of Advanced Back Technologies, Inc., will demonstrate the technological and clinical treatment uses of the decompression unit.

According to Cuccia, decompression therapy allows licensed healthcare professionals and physicians to provide effective non-surgical treatment for some types of back pain. Back-pain costs in the United States are estimated to exceed $100 billion dollars annually in direct medical care, lost wages, and compensation claims.
