NRCME needs volunteers for survey

The National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) is still in need of additional volunteers for its research survey of medical personnel who conduct physical examinations for CMV drivers .

The survey is part of the preliminary research being conducted for the development of the NRCME. It is aiming to include an equal distribution of medical professions represented, with each profession (Advanced Practice Nurses [APNs], DCs, DOs, MDs, and PAs) accounting for one fifth of the survey sample. It especially needs DO volunteers, but are also in need of additional APNs, DCs, and MDs.

If you currently perform these examinations and would like to take part in this survey, complete the form at www.nrcme.fmcsa.dot.gov/survey_request.aspx before December 5, 2006. Anyone who has previously volunteered to participate in the NRCME survey does not need to volunteer again.
