DCs, NDW to educate about scoliosis

National Dance Week (NDW) has partnered with the Scoliosis Care Foundation to provide training for U.S. Dance Educators in detection and screening methods for Scoliosis.

Chiropractors affiliated with the Scoliosis Care Foundation will be called upon to offer educational seminars to dance educators around the country. There are nearly 10,000 events associated with NDW, all of which are an opportunity to increase the awareness of scoliosis, and also to increase the awareness of local chiropractors.

The foundation needs volunteers from each state. For more information contact Gary Deutchman, DC, via e-mail (info@scoliosiscare.org) or call 800-391-8837. A free brochure, which can be distributed to local dance studios and schools to increase awareness of the program, is available to its affiliate doctors.
