WFC and FCER call for papers — Portugal 2007

Doctors of chiropractic and others are invited to submit original research for presentation at the World Federation of Chiropractic’s (WFC) and Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research’s (FCER) International Conference on Chiropractic Research, part of the WFC’s 9th Biennial Congress to be held in spring 2007.

Approximately 100 papers will be given platform and poster presentations. There are awards of $7,000 (the Scott Haldeman prize), $4,000, and $2,500 for best research papers; and $1,500 for the best paper from a clinician in private practice.

Research awards are sponsored by the U.S. National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). Award-winning papers will be published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT).

Deadline for abstracts is December 31, 2006, and should be submitted in one of the following categories; Basic Sciences, Diagnostic Sciences, Clinical Management and Special Interest.

The conference will be held May 17-19, 2007,at the Tivoli Marinotel, Vilamoura, the Algarve, Portugal.
