Olympic DC shares experiences
Jeffrey Solomon, DC, one of the two chiropractors on the U.S. Olympic medical team, shared his experiences in two e-mails to Chiropractic Economics.
Solomon, who was a Chiropractic Economics Success Profile in 2005, wrote about the snow, the players, the surroundings, and the food. One of the most memorable experiences, he wrote, was the Olympics closing ceremonies. He was able to march alongside U.S. Olympians. He wrote, “The sounds, the colors, the performances, and the fanfare could never be served justly by the television or print media. You had to be there — it was incredible!”
Solomon brought home one of the Olympic torches as memorabilia. He said, “I will be bringing back one of the Olympic torches (#101) that was used in the relay to light the torch here in Torino. Everyday that I see the torch mounted on a mantel in my home, I will be inspired to achieve greatness in my life and my family’s life from here on and forever.”
Solomon’s accountings of his experiences are posted in full at www.ChiroEco.com/history. Look under BONUS articles.
