Northwestern acupuncture student
elected student senate president
For the first time in its 65-year history, the president of Northwestern Health Sciences University’s Student Senate is not a chiropractic student. Alyssa Hitch, an acupuncture and Oriental medicine student, has been elected president of the student senate, defeating two chiropractic students.
Hitch was the first acupuncture and Oriental medicine student to run for student senate president and previously served as a class representative.
